Margaret River Elopement Photography

Elopements in the South West are a different kind of luxury— intentional, unhurried, and deeply personal.

I photograph a very limited number of elopements and micro weddings each year across Margaret River, Yallingup, and Dunsborough for couples who want to strip things back and focus on what actually matters: the two of you, the place you’ve chosen, and the feeling of committing your lives to each other.

These are weddings without excess. No performative timelines, no pressure to please everyone else, no filler traditions that don’t feel like you. Just space to breathe, to be present, and to marry your person in a way that feels grounded and true.

I’m drawn to couples who choose intimacy over spectacle — who care more about connection than production. The ones who want their day to unfold naturally, with time for quiet moments, laughter, emotion, and the kind of joy that doesn’t need an audience to feel real. Whether it’s just the two of you on a windswept coastline or a small circle of your closest people sharing a long lunch and golden light, the energy of these days is unmatched.

Because elopements are slower and more intentional, I’m able to photograph them differently too. I work calmly and unobtrusively, guiding only when needed, allowing moments to happen as they are. The result is imagery that feels honest, refined, and deeply personal — photographs that don’t just show what your day looked like, but how it felt to be there.

These bookings are intentionally limited so I can give each couple my full attention — creatively and emotionally. If you’re planning a South West elopement and value ease, connection, and timeless imagery over noise and obligation, we’ll likely be a very good fit.
